DESCRIPTION:Patient Participation Group at JSP (Critical Friends)\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\nWe have had an active Patient Group at JSP for over fifteen years. We meet on a Wednesday afternoon approximately every six weeks. Currently\, our meetings take place online using Zoom. \nThe role of the group is to interact with the practice on different levels – from thinking of ideas for new projects\, helping us monitor complaints\, or better engage our users. \nWe are keen to recruit patients from our diverse community including people from ethnic minority\, disabled\, mental health and LGBTQ communities. \nIf you think you may be interested in working together with us to build a better future for The Jubilee Street Practice and our patients\, or for more information\, please feel free to contact the Chair of our Critical Friends group\, Lyn Owens\, by emailing nelondonicb.jubileestreetpractice@nhs.net\, marking the subject header of your email: PPG\, for the attention of Lyn. DESCRIPTION:The Jubilee Street Practice closes for half days on either a Tuesday or Thursday afternoon on rotation for staff training purposes\, this is approximately at a 6 week interval. This is important for the development of the clinicians\, admin team and the practice as a whole\, to ensure we keep up to date with the latest training and guidelines\, this in turn helps us best serve our patients in a safe and professional environment. \nThe doors will close at 12.30pm on these specific dates and re-open the following morning at the usual time of 8.30am. \nFor any urgent medical queries please call 111\, or in an emergency call 999.
