Piyo is an exciting and new combination of both Pilates and Yoga for all abilities. Improving balance, flexibility, and strength. PiYo is a low impact exercise using various speeds to use more energy. It caters for all ages, body types and fitness levels. Through our PiYo class we add other forms of exercise that the patient might want, trailing new and different exercises.
Wellbeing Walk are for those who would like a more slow paced form of walking, for those who can walk their dogs, a quick stroll with their children, mindful walking, and social interactions. We walk past very scenic areas every Thursday from 9 am to 11 am at Stepney Green Park.
There are two Keep Fit Sessions, for both women and men only. These sessions specialise in high and low intensity workouts. For all ages and all abilities. Focusing on stretching the muscles, increasing your heart rate and building your stamina.
Healthy Cooking Workshop at the JSP Wellbeing Hub helps those learn how to cook healthier. From quick easy recipes to learning healthy food and nutrition tips along the way. A great way to learn new things and cook with other people!
Come Grow with Us is a gardening Workshop fit for everyone. If you want to grow your own plants, herbs, fruit and veg or to socially interact with others too, then this is great for you. Gardening has many benefits such as, boost of mood, builds strength, reduces stress, helps addiction recovery, and many more.
Coffee mornings at Jubilee Street Practice also incorporates a form of arts creativity with it, such as, crochet, colour therapy, painting, sewing and other forms. Art therapy can be very therapeutic and is a great way to relax the mind and soul. It improves sleep, improves focus, reduces stress and anxiety and improves motor skills and vision.
Pain group focuses on patients who have chronic pain and would like help to reduce the pain. We have a qualified physiotherapist assisting in helping patients, physically, mentally and emotionally. A project run over 6 sessions, once a month.
A Weekly drop-in workshop helping those who have anxiety or depression. Assisting in ways to manage their thoughts and feelings. From Covid-19 lockdown and isolation’s to getting back out there.
Weekly session for the vulnerable and lonely. Doing different activities to help people engage with others and themselves, finding different weekly topics of discussions and brain activity exercises.
