Confidentiality Statement - We want to reassure you, your conversations with us and your medical records are completely confidential. No information about you, your sexual identity, your gender status or HIV status will be shared with any one outside of our organisation (NHS) without your consent.
We have noticed that less lesbian, bisexual and gay woman have a lower uptake of cervical screening. We want to dispel any myths that you don’t need screening; lesbian, gay and bisexual women are still at risk of contracting HPV, the virus that increases the risk of cervical cancer. Transgender and non-binary patients - Anyone with a cervix needs cervical screening. If you are transgender or non binary we are happy to facilitate that here at Jubilee street.
