We are happy that you have chosen The Jubilee Street Practice to look after your healthcare needs, and we look forward to supporting your wellbeing. We are a paperless practice. Booking appointments, asking for prescriptions or looking at your test results are things we ask our patients to do online.
Below, you will find links to all this information, and more. Please take the time to read these, as it will help us, and you, to avoid long queues on the phone, and make your experience with the practice richer, more fun, and more satisfying.
Recording your calls
From October 2024 all incoming and outgoing calls are recorded. We have taken this important step to help us to protect both our patients and staff, to improve the quality of services that you receive from us, train our staff to help them to improve the way that your queries are dealt with when you call us. If you do not wish to be recorded then please let us know at the start of each call so we can stop the recording before we carry on. How to get the medicine you need
We accept prescription requests online only. This is to ensure both safest and quickest access to your medicines
One of our biggest challenges as a practice is to reduce telephone and face to face queues. These can lead to poor patient experience, unclear prescription requests, and extra admin and clinical work for the practice. For this reason, all repeat prescriptions are requested via your NHS App.
How to get help when the practice is closed
You can get help by calling 020 7780 8000 (Please note: calls will be transferred to the Tower Hamlets Out of Hours). Alternatively call the out of hours GP service direct on 020 7377 7151.
If you need medical care that's urgent but not life threatening call NHS 111. The Tower Hamlets UTC (Urgent Treatment Centre) is open 24 hours, 7 days a week and 365 days.
For emergency care
In an emergency attend the Accident and Emergency department at the Royal London Hospital or dial 999 and ask for an ambulance.
If you have chest pain and think you are having a heart attack, or think you (or a relative) may have had a stroke (use FAST), phone an ambulance without delay. Early treatment is important.
Please do not attend casualty unless it is a real accident or an emergency!
For urgent mental health problems contact the psychiatric liaison service at the Royal London Hospital on 020 7377 7000.
